Welcome to Fairlane #3!! We didn't think Lansing had enough hip, unique short term rental options, so we've set out to create some! The Fairlane apartment building has been a staple of the Capital Region International Airport for over 40 years. Located in a seasoned industrial pocket of Lansing, a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU, this unit is located on the First floor of the building

House rules (or how to get a 5 Star rating from us!)
We like to keep it simple for you and us. Please be respectful to the apartment. If you break something or find something broken, please let us know. Things happen and we get that. Be respectful to the neighbors, no loud music or parties. Follow the check-out details as best you can, and most importantly, enjoy your stay :)

Washer & Dryer (shared with others at building), snacks, and other little odds & ends:

Check-out time is 10AM on the day you leave. We will generally show up to start cleaning around 10:15 AM so if you need extra time, please let us know ahead of time, as last minute changes are harder for us to accommodate. Our cleaners have a very tight schedule to get to all of the properties daily, so if you need more time they need to know in advance. We offer a late checkout option to stay until noon for $40, which gives you until Noon to checkout. Just ask about it and we can add it to the cost of your stay. This is a fee we split with our cleaning staff to compensate them for the great job they do!

The one thing we are very strict on is smoking. Our guests come from all over the world and some have very particular conditions that smoking can cause issues with. If there is evidence of smoking of ANY KIND in the house we will be forced to keep the security deposit. It's not something we want to do! So, please if you have to smoke, do so outside!

Please do the following before taking off (These are suggestions, not hard and fast rules):
Take towels, sheets and pillowcases that were used and put them in a pile so that the cleaners know what has been used.
Wash any dishes that you used during your stay .
Please do general cleanup of the house. The less time we spend putting things back in their place, the more time we have to focus on deep cleaning the house for the next guest.
Leave us a message us when you leave and make sure the door locks behind you.

Please communicate through Airbnb if at all possible, as this is the best way to ensure someone sees your message in a timely manner.

We really want to make our place a home away from home and a place we hope you return to on your next stay. So, let us know what you think and what we can do better :)

The space

Parking is located in the front of the building. Spots are not numbered. You are free to park anywhere you find room :). Apartment #3 is located on the second floor, You go up a few stairs and it will be on the left hand side.

Guest access

Guests have access to entire apartment. There is a shared coin operated washer and dryer.

Additional notes

The TV is a 55" Roku Smart TV. You can watch all your accounts by connecting to our WiFi.

Guest interaction

We like to stay hands off and let you enjoy yourself. But, If you need assistance we can always be reached through the Air BNB app. :)

Neighborhood overview

Our building is located in a seasoned, industrial pocket of Lansing, a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU. There are apartments, a handful of industrial buildings, and, of course, the Airport directly across from our building.

Getting around

There is Uber, Lyft, taxis, shuttle and bus service at the airport. Also ask us about our options available for renting a car with Turo!
