Welcome to Fairlane #9! We didn't think Lansing had enough hip, unique short term rental options, so we've set out to create some! The Fairlane apartment building has been a staple of the Capital Region International Airport for over 40 years. Located in a seasoned industrial pocket of Lansing, a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU, this unit is located on the middle level of the building. We had a blast setting this one up. We hope you like it :)

House rules (or how to get a 5 Star rating from us!)
We like to keep it simple for you and us. Please be respectful to the apartment. If you break something or find something broken, please let us know. Things happen and we get that. Be respectful to the neighbors, no loud music or parties. This is a building with some older tenants who enjoy their quiet and we just want to be mindful of that. Follow all the check-out details and most importantly enjoy your stay :)

Check-out time is 10AM on the day you leave. We will generally show up to start cleaning around 10:15 AM so if you need extra time, please let us know ahead of time. Our cleaners have a very tight schedule to get to all of the properties daily, so if you need more time they need to know in advance. We offer a late checkout option to stay until noon for $40. Just ask about it and we can add it to the cost of your stay. This is a fee we split with our cleaning staff to compensate them for the great job they do!

The one thing we are very strict on is smoking. Our guests come from all over the world and some have very particular conditions that smoking can cause issues with. If there is evidence of smoking of ANY KIND in the house we charge a $200 smoking fee. It's not something we want to do! So, please if you have to smoke, do so outside!

Please do the following before taking off:
Take towels, sheets and pillowcases that were used and put them in a pile so that the cleaners know what has been used.
Wash any dishes that you used during your stay .
Please do general cleanup of the unit. The less time we spend putting things back in their place, the more time we have to focus on deep cleaning the space for the next guest. These aren't hard and fast rules. If you're running late or have other obligations, no worries. We just like to give our cleaners as much time to focus on the deep cleaning of the unit as possible.

Please communicate through Airbnb if at all possible. That allows multiple people to have the opportunity to see your message and respond promptly.

We really want to make our place a home away from home and a place we hope you return to on your next stay. So, let us know what you think and what we can do better.

The space

Clean and cozy space with office with high speed internet! Large sectional for lounging. 55 inch roku smart tv where you can instantly stream any of your subscriptions. 2 queen beds with a full kitchen. Perfect for working from home and extended stays :)

Additional notes

Please be mindful of the guests above and below you. You are in close quarters. Quiet hours start at 10PM. We do offer turn down service during stays. If you're interested let us know!

Guest interaction

We are around as much or as little as you need us. We like to give you your space, but are always available thru the app. This is an apartment building with a shared hallway and laundry room. You may pass some tenants coming and going. Feel free to say hi :)

Directly across from the airport! Theres a dollar general along with a few beverage/corner stores within a half mile of the apartment!
